Youlong Lin bested 305 other fencers to win the Cadet Men's Foil title at the Summer Nationals.
Youlong Lin is making his mark on the national stage. On July 1, 2026, he emerged victorious in the Cadet Men's Foil event at the Summer Nationals and July Challenge.
The field was immense, featuring 306 entrants. Lin, representing the Los Angeles International Fencing Center, navigated the bracket to finish in the top spot.
This win brings his career total to 13 titles over just three seasons of competition. Since his start in 2023, he has achieved 35 podium finishes in 80 results.
Lin currently sits at No. 2 in the USA Fencing national rankings for the U17 age group and No. 7 in the U20 category. He also holds an A26 rating.
His path to this title included a series of strong performances throughout the spring, including wins at the Collegiate Cup and Fortune SYC/RJCC.
